MOV-S is a space for the international exchange of dance and movement arts. With this first edition we hope to re-launch a means of communication that can bring Spain’s experiences with dance and movement arts to an international audience. MOV-S seeks to bridge the gap between the artists themselves and arts organisations in Spain and abroad so that, in the short term, natural paths of communication may be established with other groups overseas.
For four days, MOV-S provides a venue for the presentation of new works created in Spain, of projects by artists and cultural operators, and to reflect upon the subjects that most influence the normal development of our craft and international cultural cooperation.
This should allow dance and the movement arts in Spain to connect with international circuits of creation and distribution, to contrast artistic approaches in Spain with the critical views of international operators and promote new talent at an international level.
