We live in a society where all is sold. Josie Cáceres and Federica Folco tell us that they modify their piece depending on the needs, offering different versions, adapting to every circumstance. Amusingly, they say they say they sell their ideas and emotions to themselves.
In Maravillosa, dance is not the main character, but, almost exclusively, the body. The piece thins down cleverly the conventional borders between dancers and audience. The show is one of the many collaborations between these two artists since 2007. Caceres is from Ecuador and Folco from Uruguay. The show was created from the project coLABoratorio, an initiative of the Panorama Dance Festival in Rio de Janerio and comes to Cadiz after a large international tour.
